A Dialogue Between Eras
The collaboration between NI-T and AMBELIE continues the designer’s exploration of the dialogue between the classical and the contemporary. The study at Wunan 396, curated for Amber Lyu, features interior styling by NI-T and a refined selection of collectibles from AMBELIE.

The Historic Setting
Located in a former French Concession newspaper building, Wunan 396 is one of Shanghai’s architectural landmarks, surrounded by a cluster of historic consulates and early 20th-century facades—an emblem of the city’s East-meets-West heritage.

Cross-Cultural Serenity
To honor the cultural depth of this historic neighborhood and reflect AMBELIE’s commitment to bridging Eastern and Western aesthetics, the designer embraced the opulence of the Art Deco era and paired it with the quiet gravitas of Chinese classical furnishings. The result is a layered and contemplative interior that captures a rich, serene vision of cross-cultural beauty.
