AMBELIE's latest curation, The Maison of Style, draws inspiration from the private residences of five legendary 20th-century fashion designers. By bringing together haute couture and vintage collectible design, the exhibition deconstructs the hidden threads that govern both the runway and spatial aesthetics.
In this exhibition, the silhouettes of fashion are translated into the structures of furniture, while the warp and weft of fabrics extend into the textures of the space. Yves Saint Laurent's beloved Art Deco collections, Giorgio Armani's order of minimalist luxury, Mariano Fortuny's Venetian reverie, Coco Chanel's cherished Chinese screens, and Valentino's aristocratic romance all converge within AMBELIE's curated space, waiting to unfold.
